INsIDents OF fAILUre iN The WORkplace

When I was working in the subscriptions department for the Melbourne Theatre Company I encountered a failure which involved potential members sending in their memberships with incorrect c/card details and the staff (including myself) n0t checking these details as soon as they arrived. As a result members were informed weeks after sending in their memberships that their orders were not processed and therefore the tickets that they requested were no longer available. Regular theatre goers were furious because they were not siting in their 'favorite' positions in the theatre.

Wow that is pretty provocative. It's living proof that with the current skills humanity is learning in regards to technology, there is absolutely no limits. It also makes me think that it only takes an idea and the rest is just a matter of putting that idea into practice. In terms of it's effect on social climate, is it really necessary and are items such as this dress really a necessity? On the other hand it's amazing that technology is advancing so quickly and to such a limitless level.

MY UndERsTAndiNG Of sOcIAL cLIMAte

To me social climate is about humans and their interactions with other humans other beings other things and nature. Our climate is everything that is part of us and everything that we are a part of. Recently there have been many issues raised in society in regard to; the enviroment, technology, population etc. Humans in their basic form millions of years ago survived on basic food and water and created their lives around their natural environment. As evolution took its course basic human needs changed. Every decade, every year, every month, every day,every minute...etc we are evolving and so is everything around us. There are more people, there is more technology, there is more pollution and the planet as it is, is struggling to meet the demands of our evolving lives. There are pro and cons as with every argument but to me, this is what our social climate is about.
