INsIDents OF fAILUre iN The WORkplace

When I was working in the subscriptions department for the Melbourne Theatre Company I encountered a failure which involved potential members sending in their memberships with incorrect c/card details and the staff (including myself) n0t checking these details as soon as they arrived. As a result members were informed weeks after sending in their memberships that their orders were not processed and therefore the tickets that they requested were no longer available. Regular theatre goers were furious because they were not siting in their 'favorite' positions in the theatre.
